Be sure to read the disclaimers to ensure the course is right for you :)

  • How does the course work?
This course is completely self-paced, allowing you to move through the lessons in a way that fits your schedule. Each lesson should be completed over at least two weeks, meaning you can finish the full course in about eight weeks—but you’re welcome to take longer if needed. To get the most out of the program, be sure to: 🔹 Complete the homework exercises for each lesson. 🔹 Watch the video content to deepen your understanding. 🔹 Meditate daily using the provided meditations. Consistency is key! The more you engage with the practices, the more effective they’ll be in helping you manage your pain.
  • Will the course actually relieve my pain?
Pain is complex, and while no single approach works for everyone, research consistently shows that mindfulness-based stress reduction courses, combined with pain science education, can lead to significant improvements. The key is to stay open-minded, commit to the full 8 weeks, and maintain a daily meditation practice. While complete pain relief isn’t guaranteed, many participants experience noticeable positive changes in how they perceive and manage their pain. To keep building on your progress, it’s important to continue your meditation practice beyond the course. Stay consistent, and trust the process—you’ve got this!
  • Is there anyone that shouldn't do this course?
Meditation and mindfulness are wonderful, evidence-based tools for pain relief. However, it's not recommended for people with severe clinical depression or psychosis. Please talk to your doctor before undertaking the course if you have any concerns.
  • Do you offer refunds for the course?
Since this is a digital course with full access to all materials upon purchase, refunds are generally not offered. However, I understand that circumstances vary. If you experience any issues, please reach out at Hello@mindthepain.net, and I’d be happy to discuss possible solutions, including a refund if appropriate.
  • Will this course replace my current medical care?
No, this course is designed to complement—not replace—your current medical care. It provides evidence-based mindfulness and meditation techniques that can support pain management, but it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with your healthcare provider before making any changes to your treatment plan.
  • Do I need prior meditation experience to take this course?
Not at all! This course is designed for everyone, whether you're brand new to meditation or have an existing practice. The lessons will guide you step by step, breaking down mindfulness and meditation techniques in a simple, approachable way. You'll also get access to guided meditations and practical exercises to help you build confidence and make meditation a natural part of your routine.
  • What if I miss a day of meditation?
Life happens, and that’s okay! This course is designed to be flexible, so if you miss a day, just pick up where you left off. What matters most is building a sustainable practice over time, not being perfect every single day. Be kind to yourself and keep going at a pace that works for you.
  • Is this course suitable for people with severe endometriosis pain?
Yes! This course is specifically designed to help manage endometriosis pain, including for those experiencing severe, chronic symptoms. The meditations and mindfulness techniques are research-backed tools aimed at reducing pain perception, calming the nervous system, and improving overall well-being. However, always listen to your body and adjust as needed. If something doesn’t feel right, you can modify or skip certain exercises. This course is meant to support you, not add any extra pressure.
  • What should I do if I have trouble meditating or staying consistent?
Meditation is a skill, and like any skill, it takes time to develop. If you’re struggling, start small—even a few minutes of mindful breathing can make a difference. Try to create a routine by meditating at the same time each day, and don’t worry about “doing it right.” There’s no perfect way to meditate—just showing up for yourself is enough. If consistency is a challenge, use the workbook exercises and set reminders in your phone to help you stay on track.
  • What if mindfulness helps me manage pain, but I’m worried about ignoring something serious?
Mindfulness is an incredibly powerful tool for managing pain, but it’s not about ignoring or pushing through discomfort—it's about developing a deeper awareness of your body. If you notice new, worsening, or unusual symptoms, mindfulness should not replace seeking medical advice. Always listen to your body and consult a healthcare professional if something feels off. Mindfully managing pain doesn’t mean dismissing it; rather, it helps you respond to your body’s signals with clarity and care. In fact, mindfulness can help us rewire the chronic pain brain to a healthy state, so we can better observe and witness the acute sensations that may indicate something is off.
  • How can mindfulness and meditation rewire the brain’s pain response?
Chronic pain, including endometriosis pain, is deeply connected to the brain and nervous system. Conditions like central sensitization can cause the nervous system to become overly reactive, amplifying pain signals even when there’s no immediate threat. Additionally, past pain experiences and trauma can further train the brain to expect and perceive pain more intensely. Mindfulness and meditation help rewire the brain’s pain response by calming the nervous system, reducing inflammation, and increasing activity in areas associated with emotional regulation and pain processing. Studies show that consistent meditation practice can shrink the amygdala (the brain’s fear and stress center), strengthen the prefrontal cortex (responsible for rational thinking and emotional control), and decrease pain-related activity in the brain over time. By practicing mindfulness, you can help retrain your brain to respond to pain signals with less fear and resistance, reducing overall pain intensity and breaking the cycle of chronic pain. It takes time, but it works :)

  • How will the surveys be used?
As part of the course, you’ll be asked to complete a short survey at the beginning and end. Don't worry, it's completely optional :) These surveys are designed to: 🔹 Track your progress – Helping you see any changes in your pain levels, mindset, and overall well-being following completion. 🔹 Measure the course’s effectiveness – Allowing me to refine and improve the course based on real experiences. 🔹 Empower your journey – By reflecting on your growth, you’ll gain a clearer understanding of what’s working for you and how far you've come. Your responses are completely confidential and are meant to support both your personal progress and the continuous development of this course so that endo warriors can get the best benefits possible. However, all data will be de-identified and analysed at a macro level to ensure complete privacy and confidentiality. Your participation is completely voluntary, and your insights will help improve future programs for the endo community! Taking a few moments to complete the surveys can provide valuable insights into how mindfulness and meditation can shape the future of pain management. Really appreciate any and all help with it ☺️
